Missed an Appointment aka Did Not Attend! (DNA)

'Missed GP appointments 'cost NHS England £216m'' - VIEW
We understand that very occasionally that there may be mix-ups or communication errors in providing patients appointments. However, booking appointments and not attending without informing the practice (DNAs) means that someone else who may desperately need an appointment is denied medical care. We do not feel that this is acceptable behaviour from patients. Not only is this costly to the NHS but this is also detrimental to the health of our other patients.

If patients are found to continue this behaviour they will be removed from the practice.
